What I love about this recipe:
I add coconut water to every caffeinated beverage I drink because it balances out the caffeine spike and offers additional hydration. Plus, it adds a light sweetness without the added sugar.
This matcha recipe is a great coffee alternative for those of you reaching for a second cup of coffee without the jitters or for those of you who prefer the benefits of green tea!
I’ve included colostrum to this recipe because it supports the gut, strengthens the immune system and aids in muscle recovery. And, supposedly it’s good for aging (we’ll see).
Ingredients:
- 2 tsp Matcha powder
- 1 scoop Colostrum
- ¼ cup Water
- ¼ cup Coconut Water (I prefer Harmless Harvest for taste)
- Ice
- Milk of choice
Directions:
- Whisk the matcha, colostrum and water together with an electric hand whisk.
- Pour the coconut water and the matcha mixture over ice in a glass. Top off with the milk of your choice.
Colostrum : Armra or Cowboy Colostrum (code LIA)
